Golden Flower is a member of a Society where the roots of their teachings lie in the Western Esoteric Tradition.
The training of an Initiate includes the use of the Qabalah, understanding of analytical psychology, mythology, philosophy and a variety of religious literature. The practical work consists amongst others of Ritual, Meditation and Visualisation. The aim is the expansion of Consciousness, to seek truth and aid the path of Evolution. The path of the Initiate is not a dogmatic tradition, but one that builds on the roots of the works of our ancestors and through positive practical experiences evolves into the realisation of the 'Great Work'.
Through this column Golden Flower hopes to give an insight into the work of an Initiate in the hope to build bridges between the three main Esoteric Practises: Magick, Theosophy and Spiritualism.
All have had their peak in the 19th Century and have evolved from similar roots but specialised in different aspects of the Esoteric.
All three will be discussed with their pro's and cons under the Umbrella name Occult & Mysticism.
